ABOUT US ............................................................. The Red Chair is Alabama’s oldest existing BDSM organization established November 1997. Based in Birmingham, TRC serves the north central section of Alabama and beyond. We are a pansexual group that facilitates monthly educational events and dungeon parties. TRC also hosts several munches a month, fostering a vibrant community of responsible leather enthusiasts in our area. The Red Chair (TRC) is a social group that concentrates on providing education to our community. TRC is a place for people, within an alternative lifestyle, to learn and play within consensual adult relationships. TRC is a group that does not discriminate on the basis of gender, orientation, race or fetish. TRC includes, but not limited to, B/D (Bondage and Discipline), S/M (Sadomasochism) and D/S (Dominance and Submission). TRC is not a sex club and does not provide recommend or suggest partners for people. TRC is a non profit group. TRC's meeting location is in Birmingham, Alabama. TRC has three types of events. They are a coffee/munch (ALAFF), educational presentations and dungeon parties. TRC is proud to be affiliated with the National Coalition of Sexual Freedom.
